PixlBit | "Last June, EA Labels President Frank Gibeau said the publisher's objective for Dead Space 3 was to increase accessibility without upsetting established fans. To give credit where it's due, EA was half successfulthe first half. But with its compromised and uninspired design, Dead Space 3 is streamlined almost beyond recognition. And I'm upset."

Warp Zoned writes:
Isaac Clarke just cant seem to catch a break. Hes been to hell and back, and here he is again in Dead Space 3, being tasked once more with unfathomable responsibility. After all, who else can be trusted with saving the universe against the power of the Markers? Visceral Games has made some pretty serious changes this time around, most of them bad ones. Rumors have flown that there wont be a Dead Space 4, and just yesterday, EA announced that Dead Space 3 didnt sell enough copies to be considered successful. Keeping all of that in mind, are those rumors justified?

| Halloween Director Interested In Making A Dead Space Film
Added: 09.05.2013 20:00 | 7 views | 0 comments
Film director John Carpenter, the man behind movies like The Thing and Halloween, is interested in bringing Dead Space to the big screen.
"You know it's great," Carpenter told GameInformer (via Videogamer). "The first game was more - I guess it was like Alien - but not quite. It was a little different than that. I maintain that Dead Space would just make a great movie because you have these people coming onto an abandoned, shut-down space ship and they have to start it up and something's on board. It's just great stuff."

Renowned horror director says Dead Space is "ready made" for a film adaptation.
Renowned horror director John Carpenter--who brought moviegoers The Thing, Escape of New York, and Halloween--has said he would like to adapt to the silver screen.
Speaking in the latest issue of , Carpenter said the isolated setting of the original Dead Space's USG Ishimura would make a natural fit for a film.
"I maintain that Dead Space would just make a great movie because you have these people coming onto an abandoned, shut down spaceship, and they have to start it up and something's on board. It's just great stuff," said Carpenter.
"I would love to make Dead Space, I'll tell you that right now," adding that the game "is ready-made" for a film adaptation.
.
The 65-year-old director also admitted that he also "stupidly" purchased a copy of the disappointing Aliens: Colonial Marines earlier in the year.
